Past 30 and halfway to 40, a new 10s of the millennium. I regret my foolish way of living from Year 2010 to Year 2020, the wasted time and money spent over the past 10 years on good food and broken relationships. As someone who eagerly yearns for a committed and lasting relationship, I've put in tremendous efforts to knowing people and getting in and out of rs and have blindly live my past 10 years with the wrong spirit, wrong attitude and wrong perception towards life and relationships.
No way am i going to keep wasting my time and life the next 10 years again. Yup, I'm mid 30s now and my wake-up call came late. But late is better than never right? Deuteronomy 31:6-8 "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” God has never left me since the day I met Jesus first at St Francis of Assist when i was a K1 kid. He is patient and waited faithfully for me to go back to him.
The Holy Spirit prompted me to look deeper into my inner self, to change my perspective of people and life and to grow deeper in my spiritual walk. Basically for this year, I choose to focus on myself - Finding who am I, what I want and killing the negative sides of me.
1. Spend time with the Lord first thing in the morning,
2. Complete 1 bible reading plan chapter daily,
3. Be Kind, Be Patient and Be Gracious. Showing love and concern.
4. Self-motivate myself everyday on my self-worth in Christ,
5. Write/Pray thankfulness daily,
6. Note down bible verses,
7. Be consistent in self-care (love myself more first),
8. Time-management during office hours and me-time off office hours,
9. Complete reading 1 book per month,
10. Lose 15kg by end April 2021 (healthy eating and exercise)
11. Consistent in my monthly savings,
12. Making time for friends at least every quarter,
13. Enrol for social worker certification (Oct 2021),
14. Practice the 9 fruits of the Spirit (Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.)
